Java Engineer to design, develop, and improve secure, scalable Java applications and support enterprise-grade services for customers and colleagues.
What you'll do
- Design, develop, and deliver high-quality software solutions using programming languages, frameworks, and tools.
- Ensure code is scalable, maintainable, and optimized for performance.
- Build and enhance REST APIs and microservices using Spring Boot and related frameworks.
- Perform secure coding, implement unit testing, and contribute to production readiness.
- Support and troubleshoot complex production incidents using debugging and root cause analysis.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to define software requirements and integration strategies.
- Participate in code reviews and promote engineering best practices and knowledge sharing.
What you'll need
- Strong hands-on experience developing enterprise applications using Java and Spring Boot.
- Expertise building and consuming REST APIs and microservices.
- Experience implementing automated testing solutions using Karate Testing Framework and unit testing frameworks.
- Strong understanding of Spring Cloud Config and enterprise configuration management practices.
- Ability to perform advanced debugging, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis in distributed systems.
- Strong secure coding standards and software engineering principles for resiliency.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with a record of supporting and mentoring team members.
