Java Full Stack Developer

Overview

Develop and maintain scalable web applications, RESTful APIs, microservices, and complex backend systems as a Senior Java Full Stack Developer.

What you'll do

• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs, microservices, and applications using Java and the Spring framework.
• Use Docker, Kubernetes and other containerized tools to manage and deploy microservices.
• Monitor microservices performance and security and proactively fix issues or optimize services.
• Work closely with the DevOps team to build, deploy, and manage applications in CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Git, or equivalent.
• Develop and maintain robust and scalable web applications primarily using ReactJS for the front end.
• Implement responsive and interactive user interfaces with a strong focus on user experience.

What you'll need

• 4+ years of relevant experience in full-stack development.
• Strong hands-on experience in backend development using Java with Spring Boot, Microservices architecture, REST API, and Hibernate.
• Hands-on understanding of relational databases such as Oracle and PL/SQL or No-SQL databases such as MongoDB.
• Experience with performance optimization tools and techniques for both front-end and back-end.
• Experience with version control systems such as Git.
• ReactJS concepts and hands-on coding skills in ReactJS using JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Experience with modern front-end technologies including HTML5, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript, and popular ReactJS libraries/frameworks.
• Understanding of test-driven development and experience with testing frameworks such as Jest, React Testing Library, JUnit, and Mockito.

Nice to have

• Experience in the Financial Service industry.
• Relevant certifications such as Oracle Certified Professional (OCP).
• Leetcode, Hackerank, or Github online coding repositories.
• Knowledge of cloud computing technologies such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Familiarity with agile software development methodologies such as Agile or Scrum.
• Experience with DevOps practices and tools such as Git, Jenkins, and Docker.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with good teamwork capabilities.
