Overview
Lead end-to-end solution architecture for complex payment products, combining Java backend engineering with hands-on architecture and technical direction.
What you'll do
- Design scalable, resilient, secure, and high-performance distributed systems.
- Define solution architectures, technical designs, integration patterns, and engineering standards.
- Design microservices, APIs, event-driven architectures, and cloud-native solutions.
- Work with Product, Engineering, Mobile, DevOps, Security, and business teams.
- Provide technical leadership and guide engineering teams.
- Review designs and code and drive architecture decisions.
- Manage senior client and technology stakeholders.
What you'll need
- 12+ years of Java/J2EE backend development and solution architecture experience.
- Hands-on expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, REST APIs, and API integrations.
- Strong Payments domain experience and understanding of end-to-end payment journeys.
- Understanding of microservices architecture, API design, integration patterns, event-driven architecture, and cloud-native solutions.
- Experience defining solution architecture, technical designs, integration patterns, and engineering standards.
- Experience providing technical leadership and guiding engineering teams.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
Nice to have
- Experience architecting backend services, APIs, authentication, payment integrations, and mobile-to-backend integration patterns for Android or iOS applications.
