Java Spark Big Data Engineer - Assistant Vice President

Overview

Develop and support Java, Spark, and big data applications while coordinating with technology teams and business users. The role includes systems analysis, design, implementation, testing, and operational support.

What you'll do

• Develop and implement new or revised application systems and programs.
• Monitor application development through analysis, design, construction, testing, and implementation.
• Analyze complex application and business process problems.
• Recommend and develop security measures after implementation.
• Consult with users and technology groups on advanced programming solutions.
• Define operating standards and ensure essential procedures are followed.
• Coach and mentor new or lower-level analysts.

What you'll need

• 8–12 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in the Funds Transfer Pricing domain.
• Hands-on experience with Java, Java Spark, and big data technologies.
• Hands-on experience with Kafka.
• Experience in systems design.
• Hands-on experience with Devin and GitHub Copilot.
• Bachelor’s or university degree, or equivalent experience.

Nice to have

• Experience managing and implementing successful projects.
• Working knowledge of consulting or project management techniques.
