Java Developer

Overview

Senior Java Backend Developer responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise applications within an Agile team.

What you'll do

• Contribute code and deliver sprint commitments.
• Design, document, and develop enterprise applications.
• Resolve complex issues using application-development expertise.
• Integrate application development with broader technology goals.
• Assess risks and escalate control issues transparently.
• Supervise activities and create accountability for standards.

What you'll need

• 8+ years of Software Engineer or Developer experience.
• Experience with Java, Spring Boot, Kafka, MongoDB, and SQL.
• Knowledge of data structures and object-oriented principles in Java.
• Experience with unit testing, automation, design patterns, and peer reviews.
• Experience building scalable, highly available, resilient, and low-latency applications.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Agile software delivery.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering.

Nice to have

• Cloud-native development and container orchestration experience.
• Exposure to OpenShift, AWS, event-driven architecture, API management, and observability tools.
• Exposure to RDBMS, NoSQL, Angular, or React.
