Overview

Lead the architecture, technical strategy, and hands-on delivery of scalable data processing platforms using Java and Apache Spark. Guide engineering teams while building and optimizing production-grade distributed systems.

What you'll do

• Define architectural vision and strategy for large-scale data processing platforms.
• Guide and mentor developers while setting engineering standards.
• Code, implement, and peer-review complex modules and framework components.
• Translate business requirements into secure, efficient technical solutions.
• Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and maintainability.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and technology leaders on roadmaps and delivery.
• Evaluate and adopt technologies and methodologies.

What you'll need

• 10+ years of hands-on Big Data development experience.
• Expert proficiency in Java and Apache Spark.
• Strong understanding of Funds Transfer Pricing processes and financial systems.
• Expert knowledge of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and clean coding.
• Experience with distributed data processing systems, REST APIs, RDBMS, and Kafka or similar systems.
• Experience with microservices, Docker/Kubernetes, and Agile team leadership.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

Nice to have

• Extensive Databricks experience.
• Experience building AI-powered solutions or AI agents.
• Master’s degree.
