Senior Java Developer - Assistant Vice President

Overview

Senior Java Developer responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and supporting Java applications using microservices architecture.

What you'll do

• Design and develop Java-based applications using microservices architecture.
• Manage systems analysis, design, construction, testing, and implementation.
• Analyze complex application and business-process problems.
• Contribute to feasibility studies, estimates, IT planning, and model development.
• Implement security measures aligned with policies and regulatory requirements.
• Advise and coach new or junior team members.
• Provide user and operational support for applications.

What you'll need

• 8–12 years of hands-on software development experience using Java.
• Expert proficiency with Java.
• Expert proficiency with Spring Framework and Spring Boot.
• Experience building microservices.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and design patterns.
• Strong exposure to Oracle databases.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Nice to have

• Experience managing and implementing successful projects.
• Working knowledge of consulting or project management techniques.
• Ability to work independently and manage deadlines and changing requirements.
