Overview
Senior Java Developer VP responsible for full-stack software engineering, solution delivery, and architectural contribution within an Agile team.
What you'll do
- Write and develop Java-based software solutions.
- Decompose acceptance criteria into backlog deliverables, complexity, and risk.
- Design, document, and build enterprise applications.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and technical leadership.
- Participate in Agile and Scrum processes and deliver sprint goals.
- Define and follow technical and team standards.
- Contribute to software architecture and the technical community.
What you'll need
- 8+ years of experience as a Java software engineer or developer.
- Experience with software engineering practices including unit testing, automation, design patterns, and peer review.
- Understanding of Java data structures and object-oriented principles.
- Experience with cloud-native development and container orchestration tools.
- Experience with service-oriented and microservices architectures, including REST and GraphQL.
- Experience with frameworks such as Spring Boot, Quarkus, Micronaut, or Vert.x.
- B.Tech, B.Engg, or equivalent work experience.
Nice to have
- Experience mentoring and providing technical leadership to teams of 5 or more developers.
- Experience in finance and Compliance Risk Management.
- Master’s degree.
