Overview

Lead Java Software Engineer for Prime Finance Risk, building and operating a platform for risk analysis and real-time business intelligence.

What you'll do

• Design, develop, and own end-to-end solutions using Java and the Spring ecosystem.
• Provide technical leadership through architecture discussions, leading sub-teams, and mentoring engineers.
• Build high-throughput, low-latency services and optimize performance using caching and efficient data models.
• Implement message-driven real-time data pipelines using Kafka and Apache Pinot for analytics.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and manage deployments on OpenShift containers.
• Integrate upstream data sources with downstream consumers and collaborate with stakeholders on requirements.
• Own application lifecycle and provide production support and troubleshooting.

What you'll need

• 8+ years of professional experience in enterprise-scale distributed backend systems.
• Hands-on modern Java (11+) and Spring ecosystem knowledge (e.g., Spring Boot, Spring Security).
• Strong SQL skills with relational databases, particularly Microsoft SQL Server.
• Experience with message-driven architectures using Kafka or similar (e.g., RabbitMQ).
• Track record leading technical initiatives and mentoring engineers.
• CI/CD and version control experience with tools like Jenkins/Tekton and Git.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration including Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift.
