Junior Engineer - Machine Programming

Overview

Junior Engineer in Machine Programming for SMT-related manufacturing equipment in Chennai.

What you'll do

• Program and optimize pick-and-place machines with proficiency.
• Perform structural test programming for AOI, SPI, AXI, and FPT platforms.
• Monitor and implement continuous improvement actions for the SMT process.
• Support testing/inspection activities and prepare reports.
• Assist with KPI report preparation and data validation.
• Prepare process controlled documents such as SOPs and release in the system.
• Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) for machine programming software for ISO/IATF compliance.

What you'll need

• BE graduate in ECE/EEE/E&I.
• 0–2 years of experience in manufacturing setup.
• Preferably experience in EMS industry.
• Hands-on SMT machine programming experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of NPI (New Product Introduction) and BOM management.
• Good Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word skills.
• Command of oral and written English; good analytical and logical thinking skills.
