Overview

Junior Engineer - Production supports production teams by evaluating product engineering issues, improving processes for quality and yield, and handling engineering changes.

What you'll do

• Handle product transfer and new product setup.
• Assess production line product engineering issues and solve product-related problems.
• Suggest process improvements to improve quality and production yield.
• Perform failure evaluation for product issues and report findings to the customer.
• Interact with customers and departments on product-related issues.
• Review functional product documentation and safety requirements compliance.

What you'll need

• Typically requires a Bachelor of Science in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Ability to apply advanced mathematical concepts (exponents, logarithms, quadratic equations, permutations).
• Ability to analyze problems, design experiments, and conduct design-for-manufacturing analysis.
• Ability to interpret technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form.
• Knowledge of metrology measurement methods and engineering drawing interpretation.
• Knowledge of CAD-based parts and assemblies analysis.
