Overview

Support cost accounting activities and financial processes as a Junior Financial Analyst in Chennai.

What you'll do

• Perform defined cost accounting activities.
• Track key cost accounting metrics against corporate policy.
• Implement time-saving and cost-reduction process improvements.
• Follow up with operations on metric non-conformances.
• Post month-end accrual and reclassification journal entries in the ERP.
• Prepare and maintain process SOPs in the document management system.
• Learn the cost accountant role and provide backup support.

What you'll need

• 0–2 years of relevant experience or be a fresher.
• B.Com, BBA in Finance, M.Com, or MBA in Finance.
• Knowledge of accounting principles.
• Ability to understand and interpret accounting policies.
• Good knowledge of MS Office applications.
• English oral and written communication skills.
• Analytical skills and a team-oriented approach.
