Associate Cost Controller, CC & AP

Overview

The Associate Cost Controller will support global cost controlling, financial reporting, accounting compliance, and data quality for Maersk Line.

What you'll do

• Prepare monthly NOPS reporting.
• Review and validate cost records and unit-cost calculations.
• Conduct moderately complex cost audits under limited supervision.
• Perform periodic controls and compliance checks.
• Analyze costs and explain periodic variances and cost drivers.
• Develop process and system improvements to reduce risk and improve productivity.
• Support regional cost controllers with ad hoc reporting and backup coverage.

What you'll need

• 3–7 years of experience in cost controlling, cost accounting, or P&L analysis.
• A master's degree in finance management, finance, or accounting.
• Understanding of control frameworks.
• Strong analytical and structured working methods.
• High competency in written and verbal English.
• Ability to work in changing environments and manage high workloads.
• Teamwork and collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• Shipping or transportation industry experience.
