Sr Associate, Compensation

Overview

Sr Associate, Compensation (Job Architecture Senior Associate) for Amgen’s Total Rewards team in India, supporting job architecture and job levelling activities for internal and global career frameworks.

What you'll do

• Support job mapping and levelling requests by gathering role and organization information and reviewing job descriptions.
• Analyze internal job architecture data and career framework information to identify patterns, data-quality issues, and inconsistencies, escalating complex cases.
• Maintain job profiles, job families, career framework materials, decision logs, templates, and governance records.
• Coordinate workstreams for functional career progression frameworks, including stakeholder inputs, meeting materials, milestones, and documentation.
• Use approved AI-supported job analysis tools with human review and confidentiality controls to improve consistency.
• Support process and technology enhancements by documenting requirements, validating outputs, and reporting issues.
• Develop and update SOPs, knowledge articles, templates, and training materials and guide HR users on job architecture processes.

What you'll need

• Master’s degree and 4 years of HR experience, or Bachelor’s degree and 6 years of Human Resources/Total Rewards/Compensation/Benefits/HR Operations or related experience.
• Analytical and interpretation skills to evaluate moderate-complexity information and prepare evidence-based findings.
• Strong attention to detail, data quality, accuracy, and confidentiality.
• Clear written and verbal communication, stakeholder service, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments, set priorities within guidelines, and meet project deadlines.
• Sound judgment to resolve standard issues and escalate unfamiliar or complex matters.
• Curiosity for technology and continuous improvement; exposure to a global, matrixed environment or organizational design is a plus.
