Sr Accounts Receivable Specialist

Overview

Sr Accounts Receivable Specialist responsible for cash application operations, reconciliations, reporting, and supporting order-to-cash activities.

What you'll do

• Oversee daily cash application operations to ensure timely and accurate posting.
• Perform complex reconciliations between deposits and the accounts receivable ledger.
• Identify and implement process improvements for efficiency, accuracy, and control.
• Generate and analyze cash application activity reports and provide recommendations to management.
• Mentor and guide junior staff (interns).
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve application issues and support the order-to-cash cycle.
• Oversee customer refund processing in line with company policies and procedures.

What you'll need

• Have a minimum of 3 years of related experience.
• Maintain compliance with internal policies and external regulations related to cash applications and financial transactions.
• Assist with internal and external audits by providing required documentation and explanations.
• Have a working understanding of revenue and invoicing including direct and indirect processing and final revenue adjustments.
• Be able to frequently communicate via phone, email, and in-person.
• Have the ability to operate office equipment and a computer for prolonged periods.
• Minimum education requirement: High School or GED.
