Junior Full Stack Engineer - Hybrid

Overview

Junior Full Stack Engineer on a product team, learning by shipping features across frontend, backend and mobile with senior engineer support and growing ownership over time.

What you'll do

• Build and ship features with guidance from experienced teammates.
• Work with AI tools daily, using the team's workflow skills for planning, implementation and review.
• Fix bugs and improve product stability across web and mobile.
• Investigate and resolve production issues.
• Grow into more ownership over time as the role expands.

What you'll need

• Curiosity, drive, and willingness to learn.
• Some experience building software (startup, bootcamp, university, or side project).
• Hands-on experience with AI-powered developer tools and agentic engineering practices.
• Product mindset: wants to understand customer problems, not just implement tickets.
• Essential tools: AI coding tools (Claude Code, Cursor, Codex), TypeScript / JavaScript, React or Angular, Node.js.

Nice to have

• TypeScript, React, Node.js, Angular, MongoDB, or AWS experience.
• Mobile development experience.
• Experience working in a fast-paced startup or product environment.
• Bonus tools: MongoDB, AWS, React Native / mobile.

• Full-time, based in Sydney, Australia or Melbourne, Australia.
• Hybrid work mode.
• Remuneration (including super): AUD $85,000 - $115,000, pending experience.
