L2 NOC (Windows) Night Shift

Overview

Level 2 Windows systems administration and incident remediation role supporting development, test and production Windows environments on a night shift.

What you'll do

• Administer Windows development, test and production servers, including reloading, re-imaging, patching, GPO configuration and OS hardening.
• Diagnose and resolve complex Windows OS, Active Directory and server connectivity issues.
• Perform daily monitoring of Windows systems, services and performance, and initiate proactive remediation.
• Install, remove and upgrade Windows-based software packages and agents.
• Own Level 2 Windows-related tickets through resolution, including root cause analysis.
• Provide system evaluation reports and contribute to operational recommendations for Windows environments.
• Update system records, ensure licensing compliance and maintain accurate configuration data for Windows assets.
• Create runbooks and how-to guides, and train Level 1 analysts on Windows procedures.

What you'll need

• BA/BS degree and 2–4 years of relevant experience OR equivalent combination.
• Strong experience with Windows troubleshooting and server administration.
• Ability to support 24×7 operations and rotating shifts.
• U.S. citizenship and U.S. residency required.

Nice to have

• Linux credentials, if permitted.

• Location: USA, remote.
• Night shift: 6pm – 6am EST.
• May require access to export-controlled commodities and technology; applicant should be eligible for any required U.S. Government authorizations.
