Overview
LabVantage - LIMS Master Data Analyst (entry-level) supporting Quality Control laboratory operations by assisting configuration, master data maintenance, and integrations under supervision.
What you'll do
- Develop configuration, creation, and lifecycle management of analytical test methods in LabVantage LIMS.
- Implement test templates, specifications, and parameter lists for standardization and scalability.
- Build test scenarios/documents and test method templates, including custom scripts for data transfer/verifications.
- Analyze, triage, and resolve system issues using root cause analysis while minimizing downtime.
- Troubleshoot instrument integrations and data exchange with ERP, ELN, QMS, MES, EM, and analytics systems.
- Develop and maintain custom reports, APIs, and interfaces to support system interoperability.
- Perform GxP/21 CFR Part 11/ALCOA++-aligned validation, compliance, and change/release activities.
What you'll need
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science/IT/biotechnology/chemistry or equivalent.
- At least 3+ years of experience with LIMS or related laboratory/IT systems (internships or academic projects acceptable).
- Foundational understanding of lab workflows and compliance principles in pharma/life sciences.
- Interest in LabVantage configuration, scripting (Java/Groovy/SQL), and validation practices.
- Strong commitment to documentation and compliance.
- Excellent SQL skills.
- Willingness to learn, take feedback, and adopt new technologies/processes.
