Lead AI Engineer

Overview

Lead AI Engineer role focused on developing applied AI solutions using generative AI, agentic workflows, and data-driven applications. The role covers prototyping, system integration, and support across the AI development lifecycle.

What you'll do

• Design AI application components for text, vision, and structured data.
• Build and iterate prototypes for AI concepts and demonstrations.
• Support AI solutions from experimentation through deployment.
• Develop and integrate backend services and APIs.
• Support experiment tracking, model versioning, and CI/CD workflows.
• Collaborate with product teams, architects, and domain experts.

What you'll need

• 3–5 years of software or ML engineering experience.
• At least 2 years of applied AI or data-driven application development exposure.
• Strong Python skills and proficiency in an object-oriented programming language.
• Experience with AI development tools such as PyTorch, FastAPI, or LangChain.
• Exposure to large language models including GPT, Claude, Gemini, Llama, or Mistral.
• Familiarity with Docker, Git-based workflows, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Basic understanding of relational databases, data preprocessing, and structured or unstructured data.

Nice to have

• Experience with chatbots, copilots, or retrieval-augmented generation solutions.
• Familiarity with LangGraph or Semantic Kernel.
• Understanding of large language model evaluation or prompt optimization.
• Exposure to computer vision or natural language processing fundamentals.
• Applied AI internship or project experience.
• Aerospace, engineering, or analytics domain exposure.
