Lead Architect– Assurance

Overview

Lead Architect for Assurance within PwC's Software and Product Innovation practice at the Acceleration Center India, overseeing software and product innovation work that supports digital transformation and business performance.

What you'll do

• Lead software architecture workstreams for assurance technology solutions and guide delivery across client support engagements
• Design scalable application architectures aligned with software engineering needs, business requirements, and modernization goals
• Oversee planning, budgeting, execution, and completion of architecture projects while balancing scope, timeline, and quality
• Review application design, code, and testing approaches to validate technical soundness, maintainability, and alignment with architecture standards
• Develop microservices, API management, and enterprise application integration patterns that support secure and reusable solution delivery
• Apply programming languages such as Java, Python, C# .NET, JavaScript, and SwiftUI in solution design and technical problem solving
• Manage technical teams through coaching, feedback, and performance guidance to build skills and sustain delivery momentum
• Collaborate with client stakeholders to define functional requirements, refine system needs, and address architecture issues across platforms
• Promote continuous integration, delivery automation, and software testing practices that improve reliability and reduce delivery risk
• Identify opportunities to modernize legacy systems, improve software maintenance, and extend digital tooling across assurance technology environments

What you'll need

• At least a Bachelor's degree
• 15 to 18 years of technology experience
• Oral and written proficiency in English

Nice to have

• Preference for at least one of the following fields of study: Artificial Intelligence, Business Analytics, Computer and Data Engineering, Computer Science, Human Computer Interaction, Industrial Engineering, Information Systems/Technology, Machine Learning, Management Information Systems, Software Engineering
• Experience leading software architecture workstreams for client delivery
• System analysis skills to map component interactions and dependencies
• Managing project planning, budgeting, execution, and delivery timelines
• Coaching teams through code reviews, quality checks, and technical feedback
• Translating business needs into architecture decisions and delivery actions
• Navigating client conversations, issues, and ambiguity with professionalism
