Lead Automation Tester

Overview

Lead Automation Tester responsible for designing automation frameworks and solutions, maintaining automated tests, and supporting software quality assurance in an Agile environment.

What you'll do

• Design and implement test automation frameworks.
• Develop and maintain automated tests for functional, regression, and performance testing.
• Analyze requirements and create test automation strategies.
• Execute automated tests and investigate defects and improvement areas.
• Guide QA engineers on automation best practices.
• Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and Agile ceremonies.
• Recommend tools and methodologies to improve automation capabilities.

What you'll need

• 6 to 9 years of relevant software testing experience focused on automation.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
• Programming proficiency in Java, Python, or C#.
• Strong SQL query-writing skills.
• Knowledge of Snowflake, Redshift, Oracle, Netezza, or SQL databases.
• Experience with Selenium, Appium, or TestComplete.
• Understanding of testing methodologies and Agile collaboration.

Nice to have

• Certification such as ISTQB, CSTE, or CSQA.
