Lead Cyber Defense Data Analyst, ITC

Overview

Lead Cyber Defense Data Analyst role within Nike’s Cyber Defense team (Corporate Information Security), supporting incident response data analysis and reporting.

What you'll do

• Build and maintain PySpark pipelines and shared Python libraries for extraction, validation, entity resolution, and analyst-facing views.
• Investigate ambiguous source data by interpreting schemas and making judgment calls for uncovered cases.
• Analyze incident-related source data to discover patterns, explain anomalies, and extract insights.
• Create dashboards, visualizations, and methodology guides for non-technical users.
• Operate production Databricks jobs, including deployment, monitoring, failure triage, and optimization.
• Enforce data quality, traceability, and auditability using QC gates, versioned logic, and run logs.
• Use AI coding tools daily, owning review, testing, and what gets shipped.

What you'll need

• Equivalent work experience to a bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
• Five years of information technology experience.
• Knowledge of information security standards, principles, and practices.
• Strong project coordination skills across multiple stakeholders.
• Expertise with MS Excel (or similar tools) to analyze data and extract insights and trends.
• 4+ years building production data pipelines with substantial PySpark and Databricks experience (Unity Catalog, jobs, notebooks, volumes).
• Strong Python engineering including modular libraries and comfort debugging distributed Spark jobs.
