Lead Data Engineer - Data Engineering 4C

Overview

Lead Data Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable data solutions on Microsoft Azure, including data pipelines, storage, quality/governance, and performance optimization.

What you'll do

• Design and implement scalable data pipelines and ETL processes using Azure Data Factory, Databricks, and other Azure services.
• Develop and optimize data storage solutions including Azure Data Lake, Azure SQL Database, Snowflake, SQL, and Python.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Implement governance and monitoring to ensure data quality, security, and compliance.
• Perform performance tuning and optimization for data workflows and queries.
• Create documentation for data architecture, processes, and workflows.
• Work with analytics teams to enable advanced reporting and machine learning capabilities.

What you'll need

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
• Strong experience working in Azure data services on data engineering and transformation projects.
• Strong understanding of data warehousing, ETL processes, OLAP concepts, and data modeling concepts.
• Proficiency in Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, and Databricks.
• Programming skills in Python and SQL for data processing and transformation.
• Experience with ETL/ELT processes and designing data pipelines.
• Experience with Snowflake.
