Lead Engineer

Overview

Lead Engineer role supporting the MIL team with upcoming Flight Management System (FMS) Flight User Interface (FUI) deliverables at Collins Aerospace.

What you'll do

• Support the development and delivery of upcoming Flight Management System (FMS) FUI deliverables.
• Contribute to military avionics deployment, testing, and certification activities.
• Develop and maintain software components using C++ and Python.

What you'll need

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electronics & Communication Engineering, or a related STEM field.
• 3+ years of experience in avionics and embedded systems development.
• Strong expertise in Flight Management Systems (FMS) and Flight User Interface (FUI).
• Proficiency in C++ and Python programming.
• Experience in military avionics deployment and testing.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of avionics software development and embedded systems.
• Able to work on both high level and low level verification.
• Proficient in verification activities and able to lead a small team.

• Location: DLF Cybercity Gachibowli, Hyderabad, India (7th Floor, Block 3).
• Work mode: Hybrid, with onsite and offsite working ratio determined with your leader.
• Background check required for all external new hires in India, which may include a drug screen.
