Overview
Lead Engineer for device-level analytics focused on capturing and validating data analytics requirements, analyzing IoT and big data, and enabling teams with insights, visualization, and training in a hybrid working setup.
What you'll do
- Collaborate with plant teams, SMEs, IT departments, and analytics stakeholders to capture, prioritize, and document analytics requirements.
- Extract and analyze data from existing IoT solutions and big data sources, including testing and validation.
- Identify trends and patterns in datasets, interpret insights, and communicate findings to teams and leaders.
- Develop proof of concepts using manufacturing and IoT knowledge to address manufacturing challenges.
- Monitor data collection pipeline health, report issues, and follow up with responsible teams.
- Write user stories and frameworks for IT to productize self-developed solutions; present insights via data visualization.
- Train and guide business partners on data analysis methodologies, reporting, and tools.
What you'll need
- Master’s or degree in Automotive technology, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or information technology.
- 10+ years of experience in an Automotive company or Data Analytics environment.
- Proficiency in Python (preferred) or other object-oriented programming languages.
- Expertise in data analysis, including pattern identification and data-driven recommendations.
- Proficiency with statistical techniques and use of AI/ML/GenAI for business problems.
- Experience with data pipelines, PowerBI, SQL, Git, Databricks, Azure cloud services, and DevOps/MLOps/LLMOps.
- Familiarity with IoT data collection methods and solutions.
Details
- Work arrangement: hybrid, expected to report to the office four times per week or as dictated by the business.
- Location: Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.
- Travel: readiness to travel across regions as necessary for project implementation.
