Senior Analyst, Data Scientist

Overview

Senior Analyst, Data Scientist to lead analytics workstreams and deliver decision-support analytics for life sciences clients.

What you'll do

• Lead sophisticated analytics workstreams for client engagements.
• Develop high-impact analytical deliverables.
• Perform commercial analytics and business intelligence, including marketing and sales analytics.
• Analyze real-world data such as claims and EHR.
• Design and deliver dashboards and data visualizations for strategic and operational decisions.
• Translate ambiguous business questions into structured analytical plans and communicate insights to stakeholders and clients.

What you'll need

• Master’s degree with a major in a related quantitative science field.
• 1-2 years of relevant work experience (or a PhD instead of experience).
• Proficiency in SQL and Python/R/SAS for processing and analyzing large datasets.
• Strong statistical analysis and machine learning foundation, including hypothesis testing and supervised/unsupervised learning.
• Experience with cloud-based data/analytics environments such as AWS, Azure, or Snowflake.
• BI and dashboarding proficiency using Tableau, Power BI, or Qlik Sense.

Nice to have

• Excel skills such as Power Query and VBA.
• Experience with real-world healthcare/life sciences datasets (e.g., claims, EHR, lab, provider, Rx, payer data) and sources like Komodo, IQVIA, Symphony, Truven, Optum, Flatiron.
• Familiarity with omnichannel commercial analytics such as HCP engagement, marketing mix, and channel performance.
