Data Analyst

Overview

Data Analyst role on the data team at Headout, building reports, dashboards, and automations that support company decision-making.

What you'll do

• Build reports and dashboards with the data team to power decisions.
• Create automations tied to analytical workflows.
• Support analytics across growth/marketing, product, operations, and supply-side topics.
• Analyze marketplace performance and understand drivers of metric changes.
• Work closely with senior analysts and leadership on complex projects.

What you'll need

• 1-3 years of experience in an analytics, BI, or data science role.
• Strong SQL skills including joins, window functions, and CTEs.
• Ability to debug slow SQL queries.
• Working knowledge of Python for data manipulation, automation, or analysis.
• Hands-on experience with at least one BI tool (Metabase, Looker, Tableau, or Power BI).

Nice to have

• Exposure to dbt or Airflow.
• Basic understanding of data warehousing concepts.
• Exposure to marketplace or e-commerce.
• Exposure to consumer tech.
