Lead Engineer(DO-178B/C,3-5 years)

Overview

Lead Engineer role for developing safety-critical avionics display software. You will handle design, development, verification, and certification activities aligned to DO-178B/C.

What you'll do

• Design, develop, verify, and validate safety-critical avionics software features and functionality.
• Support software verification and validation in compliance with DO-178B/C standards.
• Contribute across the full SDLC, including requirements, design, development, integration, and formal verification/testing.
• Develop verification test cases, test procedures, and certification artifacts.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical challenges and deliver milestones.
• Analyze software-hardware interfaces to ensure seamless integration.

What you'll need

• 3+ years of safety-critical software development experience, preferably in avionics displays.
• Experience developing and verifying software following DO-178B/C guidelines.
• Strong C programming skills.
• Experience using Python for verification and validation activities.
• Understanding of high-level and low-level software requirements.
• Knowledge of structural coverage analysis and unit test automation tools.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (BE/B.Tech/ME/M.Tech) or related STEM discipline.
