Lead Engineer - Mechanical Component

Overview

Lead Mechanical Engineer for LV Drives products, handling mechanical design from concept through detail engineering and validation, including NPI, localization, and cost-out activities.

What you'll do

• Lead concept and basic mechanical design and electrical component packaging.
• Drive leading LV Drives mechanical design work.
• Coordinate with supply chain and manufacturing teams to meet project timelines.
• Own detail engineering and validation of mechanical design for NPI and localization.
• Support development of drives products including cost-out and DMP activities.
• Work on design conceptualization, layout, and equipment optimization with technical specifications.

What you'll need

• 10-15 years of mechanical design experience with development in LV/MV drives.
• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical/CAD design preferred).
• In-depth knowledge of requisition engineering and cost reduction/localization (VA/VE).
• Proficiency with CAD tools, sheet metal design, and international standards/GD&T.
• Exposure to manufacturing processes and quality standards.
• Technical and risk management experience.
• Leadership ability to motivate others and manage cross-functional/global assignments.
