Lead Engineering Developer - Senior Vice President

Overview

Lead Engineering Developer (SVP) for Citi’s Enterprise AI Products team, partnering with business stakeholders and leading engineering efforts for an AI-enabled platform.

What you'll do

• Lead technical components end-to-end, aligned to business objectives and product strategy.
• Engage business partners to understand problems and translate them into technical solutions.
• Set and deliver platform roadmaps, balancing technical changes with business deliverables.
• Design, develop, and implement solutions using OOP and strong technical design practices.
• Write production-quality code in Python or Java; work with MLflow and agent tooling.
• Ensure software quality via code reviews, technical design reviews, and unit/integration testing.
• Manage risk and security considerations for delivered solutions.

What you'll need

• 13+ years of experience as a senior developer, technical lead, or similar role.
• Strong background in object-oriented programming and architecture.
• Proficiency in Java or Python, with hands-on experience in both preferred.
• Knowledge of Generative AI and some AI Agents experience (ADK).
• Practical experience with CI/CD tooling (e.g., Jenkins/uDeploy/Tekton/Harness or equivalent).
• Experience driving technical strategy and roadmaps with cross-team influence at MD level.
• Solid fundamentals in networking, REST APIs, databases, and CLI tooling.
