Lead Information Security Engineer-AppSec Champion

Overview

Lead information security engineering role focused on application security, incident response, security consulting, and secure software development practices.

What you'll do

• Lead computer security incident response for highly complex events.
• Conduct technical investigations and post-incident digital forensics.
• Provide application security guidance on secure design, requirements, and vulnerability remediation.
• Perform threat model reviews and triage security concerns.
• Partner with development teams and Application Security Champions to promote secure SDLC practices.
• Track and prioritize remediation efforts for security findings.
• Develop application security guidance, standards, and best practices.

What you'll need

• 5+ years of Information Security Engineering experience or equivalent.
• 4+ years of hands-on Application Security experience.
• Experience with security requirements, application security risk assessments, and Secure SDLC.
• Strong knowledge of OWASP Top 10 and CWE/SANS Top 25.
• Knowledge of application security vulnerabilities and remediation techniques.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and consulting skills.
• Ability to collaborate with development teams and influence security adoption without direct authority.
