Lead Information Security Engineer - Cloud Security

Overview

Lead information security engineering for cloud security, including cloud workload protection, incident response, vulnerability remediation, and security consulting. The role involves leading complex security activities and collaborating with teams across the U.S. and India.

What you'll do

• Lead incident response and technical investigations for complex security events.
• Perform digital forensics and recommend mitigation strategies.
• Engineer and support Cloud Workload Protection and container security capabilities.
• Operate, upgrade, and maintain Prisma/Cortex Cloud Enterprise and Defender agents.
• Track and remediate vulnerabilities, security issues, and false positives.
• Review and correlate security logs and support incident resolution.
• Lead a team and collaborate with technical teams, peers, colleagues, and managers.

What you'll need

• At least 5 years of Information Security Engineering experience or equivalent demonstrated through work, training, military experience, or education.
• Experience with cloud security solutions, security engineering, and best practices.
• Experience with scripting or automation using Terraform, Python, or PowerShell.
• Experience with Kubernetes or container environments.
• Experience with Azure and Google public cloud PaaS platforms, services, configurations, workloads, and hardening.
• Experience with security frameworks or standards such as NIST, CIS, FedRAMP, FFIEC, COBIT, or CSA.
• Experience with Atlassian products, Agile methodologies, and Microsoft Office tools.

Nice to have

• Deep Prisma/Cortex Cloud Enterprise experience or experience with Wiz, Aqua Security, Qualys, or CrowdStrike.
