Lead IT QA Analyst

Overview

Lead IT QA Analyst role responsible for defining, implementing and continually improving QA policies, processes and procedures, and for test specification, design, coding, testing and documentation of applications programs.

What you'll do

• Define, implement and continually improve policies, processes and procedures that deliver consistent and reliable products and services to businesses and customers.
• Prepare detailed test specifications from which programs will be tested and evaluated.
• Design, code, test, debug and document programs.
• Work across most phases of applications systems analysis, and may be responsible for completion of a phase of a project.
• Regularly provide guidance and training to less experienced analyst/programmers.
• Work under limited supervision on assigned tasks or portions of projects to determine and develop approach to meet desired objectives.
• May lead projects or research with limited scope and complexity.

What you'll need

• Typically requires a degree and 2-4 years of experience, or no degree and 6-8 years of combined education and equivalent work experience (typically 1 year of experience = 1 year of education).

• Normally reports to QA Manager.
