Continuous Integration/Continuous Testing – System Engineer

Overview

Develop and maintain continuous integration and continuous testing systems for automated software integration, build, deployment, validation, and release readiness in automotive software environments.

What you'll do

• Develop, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines to support automated software integration, build, and deployment processes.
• Configure and execute automated testing across unit, integration, system, and regression test levels.
• Ensure continuous validation of software changes through automated test execution and result analysis.
• Monitor build health, test results, and pipeline performance; quickly identify and resolve failures.
• Integrate software components from multiple teams and verify compatibility across vehicle platforms and environments.
• Support Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL), Software-in-the-Loop (SIL), and Vehicle Integration test activities where applicable.
• Collaborate with software developers, system engineers, and test engineers to ensure code quality and release readiness.
• Maintain traceability between requirements, implementation, and test results.
• Drive continuous improvement of automation frameworks, test coverage, and integration processes.
• Analyse defects found during integration testing and coordinate resolution with responsible teams.
• Support release management activities and ensure compliance with automotive quality standards.

What you'll need

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in test framework development.
• Experience with Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, or similar CI/CD tools.
• Knowledge of Git version control and branching strategies.
• Automation scripting using Python, Bash, and Groovy.
• Experience with test automation frameworks and reporting tools.
• Understanding of AUTOSAR, Embedded Systems, CAN/Ethernet, and automotive software integration.
• Experience with HIL/SIL environments and system validation.

Nice to have

• Experience in test framework development, preferably in automotive or ADAS systems.
