Overview
Lead the modernization and automation of large-scale global network infrastructure through Network-as-Code, Infrastructure-as-Code, and GitOps. Act as the top technical authority for network automation design standards, deployment pipelines, and critical escalations.
What you'll do
- Design and implement enterprise Network-as-Code (NaC) and GitOps/IaC solutions.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for network infrastructure with automated testing and approval gates.
- Design, deploy, and support Kubernetes networking architectures and network policies.
- Lead enterprise network architecture modernization and review across routing and high-availability domains.
- Serve as Tier-4 escalation engineer for complex network incidents and advanced troubleshooting.
- Perform RCA and drive long-term remediation to improve reliability, scalability, and efficiency.
What you'll need
- 8+ years of experience in network automation, Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC), or Platform Engineering.
- Hands-on expertise with Terraform, Ansible, and Python (Netmiko, Nornir, NAPALM).
- Expert knowledge of BGP, OSPF, data center networking, and overlay/underlay network architectures.
- Experience designing and operating Kubernetes networking (Project Calico, OVN, VXLAN, Kubernetes CNI).
- Hands-on experience with GitOps and CI/CD tooling (GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
- Hands-on experience with networking/security and routing/switching (Palo Alto firewalls; F5 load balancing; MPLS/OSPF/BGP; Cisco Nexus 9k/7k/5k/2k).
Nice to have
- Experience with telecommunications/VoIP components including SIP, RTP, and SIP trunking.
- Knowledge of Linux networking (namespaces, virtual interfaces, eBPF, iptables).
- Experience implementing Telemetry-as-Code and network observability/validation frameworks.
