Lead OT Cyber Security Engineer

Overview

Lead OT Cyber Security Engineer responsible for designing, implementing, validating, and testing OT network and security infrastructure for critical infrastructure projects across Asia and internationally.

What you'll do

• Lead design, implementation, and commissioning of industrial network and OT security systems against standards and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct OT risk assessments and create mitigation plans to protect critical OT assets.
• Develop project-specific system architecture models tailored to customer requirements.
• Configure, harden, and secure industrial networks with redundancy and high availability.
• Ensure compliance with cybersecurity standards including ISA/IEC 62443, NIST SP 800 series, and ISO 27001.
• Monitor threats and provide expert OT cybersecurity guidance to engineering and project teams.
• Produce technical documentation and mentor junior engineers.

What you'll need

• 7 to 10 years of OT cyber security or network engineering experience in an OT/industrial environment.
• Degree-level qualification in cyber security, computer science, telecommunications engineering, or related field, or equivalent certifications/experience.
• Hands-on experience configuring, hardening, and securing industrial networks and switches/firewalls.
• In-depth knowledge of OT systems including ICS, SCADA, and DCS technologies.
• Solid understanding of cybersecurity frameworks and standards such as ISA/IEC 62443, NIST, ISO 27001, and CIS.
• Experience with tools including Wireshark, Nessus, Burp Suite, CIS Benchmark, Trellix, or Acronis, and Microsoft virtual environments.

Nice to have

• Experience with antivirus, encryption, and endpoint security tools.
• Relevant professional certifications such as ISA/IEC 62443, CCNA, CCNP, CompTIA N+, or equivalent.
