Specialist, Cybersecurity Engineering

Overview

Engineer, operate, and improve enterprise-scale XDR and SIEM platforms across Microsoft and Google security ecosystems, supporting detection, response, telemetry quality, and platform reliability.

What you'll do

• Operate and optimize Microsoft Sentinel and Microsoft Defender XDR.
• Engineer Google Security Operations (Chronicle SIEM) for security telemetry ingestion, analytics, and retention.
• Design scalable telemetry ingestion, normalization, enrichment, routing, and retention architectures.
• Tune detections to reduce false positives and improve SOC workflows.
• Support telemetry onboarding, parsing, validation, and quality monitoring.
• Implement automation for detection lifecycle management, enrichment, and response orchestration.
• Develop standards, documentation, runbooks, and platform reliability improvements.

What you'll need

• 5+ years of experience in security, detection, or SOC engineering.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Sentinel and Microsoft Defender XDR.
• Experience with Google Security Operations (Chronicle SIEM) or equivalent large-scale cloud SIEM platforms.
• Proficiency in Kusto Query Language (KQL) and structured detection logic.
• Understanding of Azure and/or GCP cloud security.
• Understanding of identity, endpoint, and network telemetry.
• Experience operating security platforms in large, complex enterprise environments.
