Lead Site Reliability Engineer

Overview

Lead Site Reliability Engineer role focused on infrastructure automation, cloud infrastructure and container orchestration.

What you'll do

• Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform for efficient and consistent infrastructure provisioning.
• Craft and enhance CI/CD pipelines to automate software delivery and deployment.
• Leverage Azure cloud services to build and maintain a highly available and secure cloud infrastructure.
• Design, implement, and manage Kubernetes-based solutions to orchestrate and manage containerized applications.
• Utilize GitHub to maintain version control and collaborate seamlessly with your team.
• Harness GitOps to streamline deployment and operational processes.

What you'll need

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, MIS, or a related field, or equivalent work experience in a similar position.
• Minimum 8+ years increasingly responsible programming experience using a standard coding language and/or platform.
• Experience with modern cloud environments (Azure and AWS).
• Strong skills in Git.
• Strong background in automating and optimizing operational processes.
• Comfortable developing custom tools and scripts to enhance automation and efficiency; experience in any language is of value (Go is used).
• Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and alerting tools.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a passion for innovation.
• Proactive, responsible, independent, and solution-oriented working style based on an overall understanding of the respective problems.
• Collaborative working habits that accelerate the team.
• Very good spoken and written English.

Nice to have

• Minimum four years experience writing detailed program designs for medium to large sized projects.
• Experience in Terraform, EKS, AWS, Azure, GitHub, CI/CD, GitOps, and IaC.
• Good understanding of .NET, PowerShell and Node.js web application development, build and deployment.

Details

• Based at The Leela Office, 4th Floor, Airport Road, Kodihalli, Bangalore 560008.
• Expected to work from the office on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, with flexibility to work from home on Mondays and Fridays.
• Work timing: 1 pm to 10 pm IST.
