Lead Software Engineer - C/C++, Unix/Linux, ARQC, ARPC, HSM

Overview

Lead the design, development, and delivery of high-performance, scalable, secure enterprise applications using C/C++ on Unix/Linux platforms, with ownership of architecture and technical direction.

What you'll do

• Design and develop high-performance, low-latency Unix/Linux systems.
• Own component and service architecture for scalability and resiliency.
• Lead design, development, testing, and deployment activities.
• Optimize performance through tuning, memory management, and multithreading.
• Troubleshoot production issues and improve system stability.
• Mentor developers and promote engineering best practices.
• Coordinate technical decisions across product, QA, operations, and distributed teams.

What you'll need

• Strong C and C++ programming expertise.
• Strong Unix/Linux, shell scripting, and system internals knowledge.
• Strong payment-cycle cryptography and session key derivation experience.
• Experience with Triple DES, AES, and Thales or equivalent payment-validation HSM modules.
• Knowledge of multithreading, concurrency, memory management, socket programming, and IPC.
• Experience with build, debugging, testing, profiling, GitHub, and GitHub Copilot tools.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Java or Python.
• Exposure to cloud-native or hybrid systems.
• Exposure to OWASP and secure coding practices.
