Lead Software Engineer - Platform Test

Overview

Lead Software Engineer - Platform Test will design, develop, and deliver complex platform software across networking subsystems and lead multiple project teams.

What you'll do

• Lead multiple project teams covering solution design, analysis, coding, testing, and integration.
• Drive system design and implementation for platform software across core networking subsystems.
• Own architecture and end-to-end delivery within Junos or Junos Evolved.
• Partner with system and solution test teams to set quality bars and performance/reliability requirements.
• Act as engineering owner with support teams for root-cause analysis and production issue fix closure.
• Use knowledge of transceiver/optics and fixed/modular platform familiarity.

What you'll need

• Typically 10-15 years of experience.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent.
• Extensive experience with multiple software systems design tools and languages.
• Ability to write and execute test plans and debugging/testing scripts and tools.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including mastery in English and local language.

• Work mode: Onsite, primarily working from an HPE office.
