Storage Software Engineer

Overview

Storage Software Engineer (Distributed Storage & Kubernetes) role focused on architecting and building scalable block, file, and object storage systems in Kubernetes environments.

What you'll do

• Design and develop scalable block, file, and object storage systems.
• Build distributed storage data-plane and control-plane components.
• Develop Kubernetes-native storage solutions using CSI, operators, controllers, and CRDs.
• Write production code and solve complex distributed-systems problems.
• Design for high availability, replication, fault tolerance, durability, and recovery.
• Optimize storage performance across IOPS, throughput, latency, CPU, memory, and network efficiency.

What you'll need

• 8-12 years of experience (Senior Storage Software Engineer).
• 10+ years of software engineering experience in storage, distributed systems, or infrastructure software.
• Strong programming experience in C++, Go, Rust, Java, or equivalent.
• Deep knowledge of block, file, or object storage technologies.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, Linux, networking, and I/O architecture.
• Experience with Kubernetes and containerized infrastructure.
