Job description
Overview
Storage Software Engineer (Distributed Storage & Kubernetes) role focused on architecting and building scalable block, file, and object storage systems in Kubernetes environments.
What you'll do
- Design and develop scalable block, file, and object storage systems.
- Build distributed storage data-plane and control-plane components.
- Develop Kubernetes-native storage solutions using CSI, operators, controllers, and CRDs.
- Write production code and solve complex distributed-systems problems.
- Design for high availability, replication, fault tolerance, durability, and recovery.
- Optimize storage performance across IOPS, throughput, latency, CPU, memory, and network efficiency.
What you'll need
- 8-12 years of experience (Senior Storage Software Engineer).
- 10+ years of software engineering experience in storage, distributed systems, or infrastructure software.
- Strong programming experience in C++, Go, Rust, Java, or equivalent.
- Deep knowledge of block, file, or object storage technologies.
- Strong understanding of distributed systems, Linux, networking, and I/O architecture.
- Experience with Kubernetes and containerized infrastructure.
