Lead Software Engineer focused on building next-generation platform services, working on distributed systems and mentoring the team to deliver scalable, low-latency solutions.

What you'll do

• Lead teams to deliver scalable, low-latency, cost-efficient solutions for product teams.
• Drive solutions and implementation using open-source distributed systems to deliver complete products.
• Build innovative solutions from scratch and collaborate with architects/engineers across product teams.
• Elicit system quality attributes and define criteria/metrics for product success.
• Implement and support compliance with Freshworks compliance and information security processes.

What you'll need

• Solid experience in Java and OOPS concepts.
• 6–9 years of relevant professional experience.
• Advanced proficiency in object-oriented programming principles.
• In-depth understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
• Ability to design scalable, high-performance systems.
• Experience conducting peer code reviews.
• Hands-on programming experience plus data structures and algorithms knowledge.
