Senior Manager, Software Engineering

Overview

Senior Manager, Software Engineering to lead engineering teams for LinkedIn India initiatives, developing new products/services and scaling existing offerings.

What you'll do

• Manage performance and career development of a team of engineers and managers.
• Own significant parts of LinkedIn products across design, architecture, and coding.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to develop a long-term technology roadmap.
• Scale distributed applications, make architectural trade-offs, review code, and deliver with speed and quality.
• Ensure software is unit tested, code reviewed, and checked in regularly for continuous integration.
• Partner with product and cross-functional stakeholders to create roadmaps with measurable product impact.
• Support and leverage a shared technical stack with peers across teams.

What you'll need

• 12+ years of relevant engineering work experience.
• 4+ years of hands-on technical management experience.
• BS in Computer Science or a related field.
• 5+ years of software design and coding in Java or C++.
• Unit tested, code reviewed, and continuous integration practices.

• Work location is hybrid (work from home and a LinkedIn office on select days).
