Software Engineer I

Overview

Software Engineer I to join LG Ad Solutions’ engineering team in Bangalore and work on scalable systems for ad serving, targeting, and measurement.

What you'll do

• Design and develop scalable, performant ad serving and measurement systems.
• Collaborate on big data and distributed system components.
• Build integrations with internal and external systems for data and targeting.
• Participate in code reviews and follow clean code, testing, and CI/CD best practices.
• Communicate progress, challenges, and feedback with team and stakeholders.
• Write reliable, well-tested, maintainable code for operational excellence.

What you'll need

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or relevant experience in Computer Science/Engineering or related field.
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages: Scala, Python, Go, C++, or JavaScript.
• Strong understanding of data structures and algorithms and fundamental Computer Science concepts.
• Familiarity with databases such as MySQL, Redis, HDFS, or MongoDB.
• Eagerness to learn big data frameworks like Spark or Databricks and cloud tools like AWS and Kubernetes.
• Strong problem-solving skills and curiosity to explore complex systems.
• Clear communication skills and willingness to ask questions and seek feedback.

Nice to have

• Internship or project experience in distributed systems, big data, or application development.
• Exposure to ReactJS or other front-end frameworks.
• Experience with data pipelines or cloud-native applications.
• Basic understanding of version control (Git) and collaborative development workflows.
