Lead Software Engineering – Java, Infrastructure automations

Overview

Lead Software Engineer responsible for transforming infrastructure operations using software engineering, intelligent automation, and AIOps/AI.

What you'll do

• Design and develop automation platforms for infrastructure build, deployment, security, operations, and maintenance.
• Build end-to-end automated pipelines for OS lifecycle management across multiple operating systems and mobile OS.
• Develop security and vulnerability remediation automation integrated into infrastructure engineering pipelines.
• Lead adoption of AIOps and Generative AI for infrastructure operations including assistants/agents and remediation.
• Drive product roadmap translation into design decisions and execution, including estimation.
• Develop and deploy solutions via continuous deployment pipelines, including automated test scenarios.
• Coach junior team members and continuously upgrade skills.

What you'll need

• 8+ years in software/IT development.
• 6 years of experience in database technologies.
• 6 years working with implementations applying SDLC/development life cycles.
• At least 8 years in a coding role and 3+ years designing enterprise-level solutions.
• 2+ years coding and architecting applications using microservices architecture and patterns.
• Strong Java or Python coding skills and Ansible experience for infrastructure automation.
• Comfort with Docker and Kubernetes.
