Lead Software Release Manager

Overview

Lead Software Release Manager responsible for end-to-end release planning, scheduling, and orchestration across 7–8 interconnected products and platforms.

What you'll do

• Own an enterprise release calendar and integrated release schedules for 7–8 products and platforms.
• Coordinate release trains and major program increments across multiple teams.
• Manage product, program, infrastructure, vendor/external partner, and customer readiness dependencies.
• Govern utilization and readiness of integration, system testing, UAT, performance, pre-production, and production environments.
• Run release readiness reviews, establish entry/exit criteria, and conduct go/no-go assessments.
• Lead release war rooms for major deployments and drive resolution of release blockers.

What you'll need

• 8+ years of experience in software delivery, technical program management, release management, or engineering operations.
• 5+ years managing enterprise-scale software releases.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Experience coordinating releases across multiple products and engineering teams simultaneously.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile/Scrum, DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and change/release management processes.
• Demonstrated experience managing complex dependency chains and cross-functional delivery programs.
• Strong executive communication and stakeholder-management capabilities.
