Overview
Lead the design, architecture, operation and improvement of Microsoft 365 technologies, Intune Suite, Purview, Copilot and integrations across the digital workplace. Improve digital employee experience, address security gaps and lead the development and governance of agentic AI solutions that automate digital workplace workflows.
What you'll do
- Implement, monitor and operate digital workplace technologies, including endpoint hardware, software, services and SaaS tools.
- Integrate digital workplace technologies with identity, security, vulnerability management, IT service and asset management, remote access, backup and directory services.
- Ensure stability and security through endpoint management and timely patching.
- Support security operations by monitoring and reporting anomalies related to devices and identities.
- Resolve high-priority outages, troubleshoot issues and participate in capacity and availability planning.
- Establish computing configuration and operating standards with IT colleagues.
- Work on digital workplace technology projects.
- Create, publish and communicate knowledgebase articles.
- Monitor technology trends and improve continuous improvement initiatives.
- Assess service and application criticality and automate testing before patching and upgrades.
- Provide IT support for issues escalated from level 1 or level 2.
- Investigate, diagnose and remediate digital workplace technology outages through major incident management.
- Mentor IT support and operations teams and maintain strong information flow between operations and engineering.
- Build and deploy agentic AI solutions that execute multi-step digital workplace workflows.
- Write and maintain production-quality Python, PowerShell, C# or similar code and scripts for integrations, APIs and automation pipelines.
- Define engineering standards, guardrails and governance for secure and responsible AI-agent design and deployment.
- Partner with AI initiatives on agent ownership models, reusable design patterns and application lifecycle management practices.
- Evaluate agentic AI platforms, models and tools, lead proof-of-concept development and make build/buy recommendations.
What you'll need
- 10+ years managing or supporting IT systems and platforms.
- 5+ years implementing digital employee experience, endpoint management, analytics and automation tools.
- Experience with standard IT operations frameworks, such as ITIL.
- Digital workplace tool management expertise, including tools, techniques, monitoring and integration.
- Experience with configuration management, identity and access management, Active Directory, desktop virtualization, collaboration platforms and other cloud-based services.
- Experience implementing modern management of endpoint devices.
- Experience with continuous engineering or other agile methods to keep pace with frequent changes and reduce complexity.
- Ability to write technical documentation.
- Demonstrated coding and scripting ability in Python, PowerShell, C# or similar, with a track record of building and maintaining automation, integrations or tools in a production environment.
- Hands-on experience building or deploying agentic AI solutions.
- Working knowledge of LLM integration patterns, including prompt engineering, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) and tool/function calling.
- Understanding of responsible AI, security and governance practices for autonomous systems, including least-privilege access, human-in-the-loop review and monitoring/evaluation of agent outputs.

- Experience using automation to drive continuous improvement, including AI/ML.
- Experience leading or contributing to an internal AI pod or scrum team, including agent design, use-case development and application lifecycle management practices.
- Familiarity with the Model Context Protocol (MCP) or similar tool-integration standards for connecting agents to enterprise systems.
- Experience with agent evaluation and observability practices, including tracing, testing harnesses and accuracy/cost monitoring.
- Bachelor’s degree in IT or a related field.
- Microsoft Certified: Azure AI Engineer Associate (AI-102) or equivalent agentic AI certification.
Details
- Location: Pune.
- Employees must have a high-speed broadband internet connection with a minimum speed of 50 Mbps and be able to set up a wired connection to their home network for effective remote work.
- Final interviews may require onsite attendance.
