LLM Application Engineer

Overview

Build the intelligence layer for AI experiences by developing LLM-powered applications and reliable agent workflows. Own AI problems end to end, from user needs and system design through production improvement.

What you'll do

• Build and ship LLM-powered applications and agent workflows.
• Design systems for reasoning, planning, memory, tool use, and multi-step execution.
• Build orchestration pipelines for predictable, observable, and safe actions.
• Integrate LLMs with APIs, databases, search, services, and external tools.
• Develop prompts, context engineering, structured outputs, and tool-calling techniques.
• Build evaluation frameworks and datasets for AI quality and reliability.
• Debug and optimise AI systems across models, backends, UX, quality, latency, and cost.

What you'll need

• Strong software engineering fundamentals and experience building AI-powered applications.
• Hands-on experience with LLMs, generative AI, or agent-based systems.
• Experience designing prompts, workflows, evaluations, or AI behaviour.
• Ability to write clean, production-quality code.
• Comfort working across model, system, and product layers.
• Strong problem-solving skills in ambiguous, fast-moving environments.
• Python experience and familiarity with LLM APIs, agent frameworks, vector databases, backend services, and distributed systems.
