Senior Software Engineer II

Overview

Senior Software Engineer II responsible for building AI-powered products and platform capabilities for physical operations. The role owns technically complex problem spaces and delivers full-stack features from strategy through production.

What you'll do

• Own technically complex, mission-critical areas.
• Define technical strategy for products and platform capabilities.
• Design and ship full-stack features across backend, frontend, and potentially mobile.
• Partner with product, design, and customer-facing teams on technical plans and outcomes.
• Build and scale data ingestion, APIs, and workflows for AI-driven products.
• Mentor engineers through code reviews, design reviews, and technical guidance.

What you'll need

• 8+ years of software design and development experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong full-stack fundamentals across backend services, APIs, and frontend.
• Proficiency in Go, Python, TypeScript/JavaScript, React, or similar technologies.
• Experience leading cross-team or cross-org projects from inception through rollout.
• Experience building AI-powered or data-driven products.
• Strong communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience shipping AI-powered features in production.
• Experience with AI-augmented development workflows.
• Experience with telematics, sensor data, work orders, or inspections.
• Experience mentoring senior engineers and influencing engineering culture.
• Side projects or open-source contributions.

Details

• Remote role open to candidates residing in the United States.
• Annual base salary: USD $154,700–$260,000.
• Full-time position.
