LLM Engineer - Manager

Overview

As an LLM Engineer - Manager, lead the design and delivery of AI solutions that turn data into practical business insights. Develop, test, and refine language model capabilities while guiding delivery across workstreams and addressing complex client needs.

What you'll do

• Lead LLM engineering workstreams that apply machine learning, deep learning, and natural language processing to client problems.
• Manage project plans, timelines, budgets, and deliverables across data science and AI initiatives.
• Guide teams in designing, training, testing, and tuning language models for use cases such as classification, summarization, retrieval, and generation.
• Review model outputs, data pipelines, and evaluation results to identify issues, improve performance, and strengthen solution reliability.
• Apply data modeling, data quality, and statistical analysis methods to support exploratory analysis and predictive modeling.
• Coordinate development activities across programming languages, AI tooling, and cloud-based analytics platforms.
• Mentor team members on data science workflows, model troubleshooting, and applied AI methods.
• Build client-facing relationships to gather requirements, explain technical tradeoffs, and translate business needs into practical AI solutions.
• Motivate teams, coach junior professionals, and guide delivery across workstreams.

What you'll need

• At least a Bachelor's degree.
• At least 8 years of experience.
• Oral and written proficiency in English.

Nice to have

• Preference for at least one of the following fields of study: Artificial Intelligence and Robotics, Business Analytics, Computer and Information Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Programming, Data Processing/Analytics/Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Machine Learning, Management Information Systems, Mathematics, Statistics, or Systems Engineering.
• Hands-on LLM engineering using Python, SQL, or cloud tools.
• Applying machine learning, deep learning, or natural language processing.
• Managing client-facing AI delivery workstreams and project timelines.
• Mentoring junior team members through code reviews and feedback.
• Translating complex analytics into business-focused recommendations.
